Dr. tyler young

Dr. Tyler Young is a native of Overland Park, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University and received his Doctorate of Optometry in 2010 from the University of Missouri – Saint Louis College of Optometry. Dr. Young also received extensive training in ocular disease at the Kansas City Veterans Administration Hospital. He received training in the fitting of contact lenses by some of the most well known doctors in the field. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Kansas Optometric Association, the Optometric Society of Greater Kansas City, and the Beta Sigma Kappa International Honors Society. In addition to providing comprehensive eye care, Dr. Young’s clinical expertise includes fitting multifocal and monovision contact lenses as well as the treatment and management of diseases such as glaucoma and diabetic eye disease. He and his wife, Reina, currently live in Fairway and enjoy traveling in their free time.


Madison

Madison is a certified optician at InFocus Family Eyecare. She grew up in rural eastern Ohio and moved to Olathe in 2014 to attend MidAmerica Nazarene University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2018. Her experience in customer service began in 2014, which has allowed her to put her passion for people to use. She has always had an interest in the optical industry and decided to enter the field in 2019, then completed her American Board of Opticianry certification in 2020. Her passion for people and interest in fashion makes being an optician very enjoyable and she is excited to grow with Dr. Young’s practice, helping people see the best they can. Outside of the office, you can find her enjoying quality time with her husband & daughters, out with her friends, singing at church, traveling, or taking her three dogs to the dog park.


Andrea

Andrea is an alumna of Shawnee Mission Northwest High School, Johnson Community College, and Kansas City Community College. Her studies included vocal jazz, computer support, and she graduated with an associate degree in audio engineering in 2015. Her experience working with fashion trends, eyewear, and customer service spans eight years and she has a passion for helping people look, and see their best. Having a high prescription herself, she understands the importance lens design and frame selection can make in the success of eyewear. This pushed her to complete her American Board of Opticianry certification in 2017.


Kayla

Kayla is an optician and optometric technician at InFocus Family Eyecare. She is currently working toward a certification by the American Board of Opticianry. She grew up in southern Arkansas and has now lived in Kansas for over 20 years. She is passionate about inspiring confidence and happiness in others and feels the perfect pair of glasses provides a great start. She looks forward to growing with InFocus and helping our patients have an amazing experience. Outside of work, Kayla loves spending quality time with her kids and husband, as well as enjoying outdoor activities.
